Junior Training Programme

The training programme aimed at junior/mid-level lawyers and accountants continues to go from strength to strength. Many thanks to all our presenters to date. We hope to post podcasts of all presentations shortly.

We are pleased to announce that the next webinar in the RISA Junior Training Program for 2021 will be held on Thursday 1^st April 2021 at 10am. The webinar is being presented by Sophie Smith of R&H Restructuring and Greg O’Keefe-Davis of Mourant Ozannes, focusing primarily on the following subject areas:

1. The Application of the assets of the company or “Waterfall” under section 207 of the Insolvency Act 2003;
2. Costs & expenses of the liquidation in accordance with the prescribed priority under Rule 199 of the Insolvency Rules 2005 (the “Rules”);
3. Preferential claims in accordance with the provisions for the payment of preferential claims prescribed in Schedule 2 of the Rules;
4. All other claims; and
5. Interest on all admitted claims.
